After being diagnosed with early-onset advanced glaucoma, Ocho’s vision began to change, but so did his art. He turned inward — from image to texture, from sight to sensation. His work now blurs the boundaries between painting and sculpture, creating tactile worlds that can be felt as much as seen.
Through layered surfaces, plaster, and acrylic, Ocho translates personal mythology, identity, and resilience into a new visual language — one that proves that even when the light fades, the artist’s vision only grows deeper.
