When I first saw the painting, I was speechless. It felt like witnessing something far beyond mere talent — the work of someone whose art knew no bounds.
Before me was the face of a girl who reveals to the world only half of herself — a side of breathtaking beauty, with vibrant green eyes possessed by only 2% of people on earth.. Many would call her blessed; some might envy such divine perfection, wishing to claim it for themselves. Yet there is another half — the one she keeps hidden, known only to her. That unseen side is her secret, her refuge from the gaze of the world.
When I saw the painting, I felt something stir deeply within me. I realized that her beauty was both a blessing and a curse — a gift that dazzles others, yet isolates the one who bears it.
My next thought was of the artist. To see such remarkable talent on our platform was extraordinary. I wrote to
Cristina and just a few hours later, she sent me her biography and work. Some might assume she’s a close friend, but in truth, she is simply a wonderful human being — compassionate, kind, and generous of spirit. She joined our small community "
Create" by Mukul's Art Space with a heart large enough to unite people across borders and time zones.
It reminded me how beautiful the world can be, and how much goodness still quietly exists within it.
Thank you,
Cristina for your warmth and support. As I once wrote about Mukul, Italy was his second love. He adored your country — its art, its history, its rhythm of life. He travelled to Italy many times, and each visit filled him with wonder, as though he were seeing Florence, Verona, Venice, Sicily, Rome, Bologna, Naples, and Tuscany for the first time. He often spoke of Italy’s streets, its scents, its tastes — the most beloved cuisine in the world. No matter where he was — in Vietnam, in Bali — he always found a way to taste Italy again.
One of his most cherished journeys was the one he shared with his father. It was his father’s first visit to Europe, their first trip together — and, sadly, their last. Yet it remained one of the happiest memories of his life.
How beautiful the world is, and how many good hearts it still holds.
