I am only beginning my journey into the world of painting, but when I take a brush in my hand and breathe in the scent of oil paint, time stops, my anxiety fades, and a desire is born to capture an entire moment on a blank canvas. I was fortunate to meet a teacher under whose sensitive guidance I create copies of paintings that are close to my heart, studying the lives of great artists and trying to grasp the feelings they wished to preserve in oil paint, frozen for eternity.
