Born in Ajmer and raised in Delhi, Kunnal Shandilya is a singer-songwriter and live performer who left behind a successful IT career to pursue his passion for music. After completing his Master’s in Computer Applications, he worked as an IT analyst at TCS for eight years before making the life-changing decision in 2015 to follow his true calling.

Music had always been part of Kunnal’s life—he picked up the guitar in 2005 and nurtured his songwriting skills over the years, primarily writing in Hindi. What began as a personal pursuit soon turned into a full-time profession. Since 2016, he has performed more than 500 shows, from private gatherings to pub gigs, building a reputation as a heartfelt and engaging live performer.

For Kunnal, music is not just entertainment but expression: “It’s a feeling—you’ll get it, or you won’t.” His songs reflect his own journey of breaking away from convention, embracing uncertainty, and finding meaning in words and melodies.

Today, he continues to write, compose, and perform, bringing his voice to diverse audiences while staying true to his independent spirit.
